Warnock Foundation chairman co-authors op-ed on expungement
Warnock Foundation chairman and founder David Warnock, together with William H. “Billy” Murphy, Jr., authored an editorial on the consequences of our state’s expungement policies, which leads Baltimoreans who have not been convicted of a crime to face discrimination from prospective employers, landlords, credit card companies and others.
The editorial, published in today’s Baltimore Sun, suggests that criminal records be automatically cleared of charges that did not result in guilty verdicts.
