Applying for Grants with the Warnock Foundation
The Baltimore Social Innovation Journal
The Baltimore Social Innovation Journal is an idea competition, focusing on identifying innovative approaches to tackling Baltimore’s age-old challenges. Winners are featured in the Baltimore Social Innovation Journal, a print and online publication, receive $1,000 in grant funding, and are supported with technical and promotions assistance from the Warnock Foundation. This grant program runs twice per year.
The Baltimore High School Innovation Challenge
The Baltimore High School Innovation Challenge is an idea competition for high school students enrolled in Baltimore City schools. Teams of students, supported by faculty advisors, are invited to submit ideas for improving their community, and take part in a pitch competition. The winning team’s school receives a $5,000 grant, and is featured alongside adult innovators in the Baltimore Social Innovation Journal. This grant program runs once a year, in the fall.
Outside of these programs, the Warnock Foundation does not accept unsolicited proposals for funding.
