2nd Baltimore Social Innovation Journal applications open
In September of 2013, we asked Baltimoreans what they thought about the future of their city (https://warnockfoundation.org/do/speakup/). There’s no surprise – most were in agreement on what our biggest challenges are. Poverty. Education. Drugs.
What most impressed us, however, was the passion that survey-takers showed for Baltimore. And the hundreds and hundreds of great ideas that Baltimoreans shared with us.
The Baltimore Social Innovation Journal is a forum for the exchange of those ideas. We published the first version of the journal in January, which profiled thirteen social innovators and received thousands of visits and shares (http://baltimoreinnovation.org/).
Today, we’re happy to announce that we’re opening applications for the 2nd Baltimore Social Innovation Journal.
In less than 100 words, we want you to share your idea for a better Baltimore with us. How would you solve poverty? Tackle education? Erase the scourge of drugs from our communities?
If your idea is selected, you’ll get published. And, the top social innovators will win funding to implement their idea.
